This is definitely one of the most unbelievable incidents in recent history. A seriously disturbed South Korean student kills 32 people and then himself at Virginia Tech. 32 people?!?!?!?!?!?! And he is South Korean????
But the truth is that a psychological disorder, much like any other, does not see racial boundaries, of course. The problem now is that there is no one to persecute since the guy shot himself, so how does a family member of any of the victims find justice? I can't help but think of the young minds that could have been the greatest. I can't help but think of how devastating it must be to lose one of your own this way. How do you find solace after something like this? Or do you ever?
My thoughts are with the families of the victims. I am truly sorry for their losses.

We had a similar shooting on my own campus just a few weeks ago. This agitated British dude killed his ex-girlfriend who he had been stalking for months. This incident with the South Korean started in much the similar fashion...I believe he killed someone he previously had an argument with, either an RA in his dorm, or his girlfriend (according to some witnesses). But the difference between the two [equally sad events] is that the South Korean didn't stop with his first kill, and went on to murder people who didn't deserve to die. (not that the RA deserved to die, but you know what I mean)

What is this world coming to, Oguz? Why is everyone grabbing the gun these days? What the hell happened to life teaching you a few lessons and giving you chip on your shoulder? It makes me think that these killings will only increase as we grow more impatient and as less people get the real help they need.... It's so fucking sad.
